The planned reopening of Touchstones Rochdale, with a launch event celebrating local artists on 30 January, has been postponed for the duration of the lockdown.
One of the exhibiting artists will be member of VIBE Creative, Jennifer Anderton
Jenny is a 23-year-old illustrator, animator, and character designer. She enjoys drawing and animating characters that pop up in her dreams and nightmares. Currently a 3rd year student at Bolton university studying degree in illustration and animation.
Jenny says, “I’ve been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil and it all started at the age of 3 years old when I drew many circles and repeatedly kept saying planet every time I drew a circle. As I grew up, I had started drawing different characters from my imagination that where inspired by my nightmares and dreams. During lockdown I have been working on an animation for university for a character design project that is based around a circus themed world whilst drawing other characters I usually work on in my spare time. The piece that I have made is based on two of my villain characters named Lucifer and the Tie demon who work with each other as partners in crime.”
